The idea for this blog has been simmering in my heart for a couple years now and I’m SUPER excited to finally be getting it underway.

I wanted it as a place to chronicle my thoughts, experiences, and ideas even when they’re not all the way baked because whose life is really, truly Instagram-ready 24/7?  And, as Mom to 3 boys, with a husband, 3 dogs, a cat and a snake (Yup, you read that right), sometimes I just need to write things down because they’re too unimaginable or hilarious or, who am I kidding, downright sad not to:)

So, in this li’l space o’mine, you’ll find #allthethings that make up my day-to-day life. The real, not so color-coordinated, not so perfectly-timed, not so always fabulous … but ALWAYS just the way it’s supposed to be #reallife. You see I can do color-coordinated (I have a business degree but went back to school for interior design), I can do perfectly-timed (I’m a long-term business owner), and I can do fabulous (I have a great life—most days) … but a whole lot of the time, life is nowhere near any of that. And occasionally, I just need to know other women experience life this way too. When I connect with women not afraid to say their day sucks when it does, I feel like I can breathe just a little bit easier. We don’t always have to have it all together, thank God.

On KerryLoves, you’ll find me Mom-ing, designing and redesigning interiors, sharing recipes, being a business owner, fashion (although #notafashionblogger), beauty (yep, #notabeautyblogger), and probably a lot more. It’s a work in process … As am I.
