Favorite Shelf Styling Pieces
Okay, so I looooooove decorating shelves. Just think of all the possibilities, right?! You have bookshelves, you have living room shelves, you have floating shelves… just, all the shelves. More than anything though, shelves are a fun, easy and inexpensive way to switch up your decor.
As we slide into a new season, I think it’s the perfect time to re-shelve those shelves of ours! Here are some of my all-time favorite shelf styling pieces:
Statement Styling Pieces for Shelves
- This decorative wood sphere is a perfect touch for a beachy, rustic feel.
- Every shelf needs a box — it’s a rule. This one is super cute.
- Texture is everything on shelving, and I love this clay knot for a statement without taking up a ton of space. To add some dimension, lean this gorgeous plate up behind it!
- Art definitely deserves a spot on your shelves — this option and this one are stunners. I also love making art out of family photos in pretty frames like these marble ones.
Little Touches, Big Impact on Your Shelves
- These black beads are so cute for adding texture to your shelves.
- I’m a big believer in unique, little pieces on shelves — the smaller space gives them room to shine! This Asha taper holder, these candlestick holders, these adorable bookends and this wood cutting board (yes, seriously!) are perfect.
Greenery, Please!
- I’m obsessed with putting eucalyptus leaves in this vase and in this vase set, but they would look just as good without any leaves!
- Some ivy would look perfect in this bowl planter, and you can also get even more creative with rocks or something similar.
- Sometimes it’s just easier to not have to TRY to keep plants alive, amirite?! These artificial eucalyptus plants are so pretty — no water necessary!
Happy shelving, my friends!
