Things I do not love: the price of luxury home decor.

Plus, over my many years of spending waaaay too much time on home decor websites, I’ve realized that (most of the time) the looks for less are JUST as good as the luxe ones. Whether it’s furniture or floor lamps, I just really don’t believe that you have to spend a zillion dollars.

Promise.

Here are some of my recent faves for less:

I just can’t get over this one! Get two dressers side by side for literally half the price of this look. I think it’s a great idea to get the same look of a larger item.

Chairs are always so. pricey. Maybe it’s just me, but white furniture in my house doesn’t tend to really last (hello, pets!) but I love the look of it. So if I can find more affordable items that I know I could more easily replace as needed, for a quarter of the price, I’m in.

You can’t tell me these two sets of drawers aren’t nearly identical? I like the look of the gold handles too. They can easily be swapped for a fancier look, but this is so classic!

Don’t get me wrong, I love Pottery Barn! For some items it is so, so worth it. But doing some research you can often find a similar look for something like an accent stool for much less.

I can’t tell you how much I love elevating a space with lighting! It makes all the difference to the vibe and coziness of the room. I love to incorporate lighting in all the spaces in my home, so it’s fun to find looks for less.
